Perfect For
Book Week & Early Childhood Events: These TV friends are foundational early childhood TV literature, making these headbands ideal for nursery or preschool Book Week parades, Playschool-themed story time dress-ups, or kindy graduation performances.
Group & Family Costumes: Four headbands in one set allow siblings, friends or family groups to coordinate as the complete TV friends crew for Halloween trick-or-treating, themed birthday parties, or group costume competitions.
90s & 00s Nostalgia Parties: Relive the late-90s kids TV era at retro throwback parties, millennium-themed events, or 90s pub trivia nights where kids-TV nostalgia runs high among adults who grew up watching the show.
How to Wear It
Pair each headband with solid-coloured clothing to match your chosen character — yellow top and bottoms, red, green, or purple to match your chosen headband. Add silver fabric circles to your torso for the signature TV screen detail to complete the full Teletubby look.
Frequently Asked Questions
The set includes all 4 character headbands — yellow, red, green and purple. Clothing and other costume elements are not included; wear with your own solid-coloured outfits.
Absolutely — these TV friends are classic early childhood TV characters often featured in preschool and kindy Book Week themes. Pair with solid-coloured clothing for an instant recognisable costume.
The antennae maintain their upright shape through internal structure or firm stuffing, so each character's signature antenna design stays recognisable throughout wear without drooping.
