Dorothy & Wizard of Oz FAQ

What's the top Dorothy costume?

Our most popular pick for adults is the Wizard of OZ Dorothy Costume Ladies. For kids, it's the Girls Dorothy Classic Blue Gingham Book Week dress. For the Wiggles theme, try the Dorothy Dinosaur Tabard in our Wiggles category.

Do you have ruby slippers separately?

Not as a dedicated standalone item. Our Dorothy costume styles may include slipper styling (check each product page). Standalone red glittery shoes for DIY Dorothy aren't currently in our range. Workaround: any red sparkly heels / kids red glittery shoes from your wardrobe + add red glitter spray.

What's Dorothy the Dinosaur?

Dorothy the Dinosaur is the Aussie cartoon character (Wiggles spin-off): green dinosaur with yellow polka dots + flower hat. Completely different character from Dorothy Wizard of Oz: just shares the name. We stock 2 Wiggles Dorothy Dinosaur styles in our Wiggles cat (Tabard + Tiara Ballerina). Pair with Captain Feathersword + Wags + Wiggles characters for Aussie kids party theme.

Do you have Wicked Witch + Glinda for the Wicked 2025 movie?

Not currently as dedicated styles, though both are ones we're keeping an eye on given the renewed interest from Wicked: For Good. Workaround for now: Wicked Witch: generic witch from our Witch cat + green face paint. Glinda: pink ball gown from Cinderella cat + crown + wand. For licensed Wicked styling, see the Adult Elphaba Wicked Witch Costume and the Womens Glinda Pink Gown Costume.

Do you have Cowardly Lion?

Yes: the Adult Cowardly Lion Costume (Wizard of Oz licensed jumpsuit) and the Kids Cowardly Lion Costume. That completes the classic 4-pack: Dorothy + Scarecrow + Tin Man + Lion, ordered as four separate costumes.

Do you have Toto in basket?

Yes: Licensed Wizard of Oz Dorothy Toto in Basket. This lives in our accessories category: order alongside any Dorothy costume for the complete Wizard of Oz look. Plush Toto dog in a wicker-style picnic basket.

Do you have Tin Man for adults?

Yes: Adult Tin Man Costume - Wizard of Oz Metallic Silver Suit with Funnel Hat (one size). Pair it with our two Tin Man props: Tin Man Heart Clock and Tin Man Axe.

What's a good kids Book Week Wizard of Oz costume?

Top picks: Girls Dorothy Classic Blue Gingham Book Week. For Book Week judges, reference Lyman Frank Baum's original 1900 book "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz": the 1939 MGM film with Judy Garland is an adaptation. Pair with the Toto in Basket for the iconic Baum book-cover look. For a Scarecrow: Boys Mr Scarecrow. For Tin Man kids: Tin Man Child.

How fast can I get a Dorothy costume?

We dispatch from Melbourne same day on weekday orders placed before 2pm AEDT. From there Australia Post Express to most metro areas: delivery times depend on Australia Post and aren't guaranteed. Our Adult Dorothy, Kids Dorothy, and Scarecrow styles are held in deep inventory year-round. Book Week styles restock more often Aug-Sep for Book Week season. Halloween-leaning Scarecrow + Tin Man variants tighten stock Oct.
