What's Included

Rainbow flag costume, multi-coloured

The Adult Rainbow Pride Flag Cape Costume is a 150cm × 90cm banner in the iconic six-stripe rainbow design, engineered to drape across your shoulders as a wearable cape or wave overhead at celebrations.

Lightweight with a subtle sheen catches the light as you move. The six horizontal stripes — red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple — follow the classic LGBTQ+ pride flag order, finished with hemmed edges to prevent fraying during extended wear.

Key Features

150cm wide × 90cm drop — generous coverage for cape-style draping
Six-stripe rainbow design in flag fabric with slight sheen
Hemmed edges on all sides for durability during parades and events
No closures — drapes naturally over shoulders, held with arms outstretched
Single-layer construction keeps it lightweight and easy to pack

Perfect For

Pride Parades & Festivals: Whether you're marching in Sydney Mardi Gras, Melbourne Pride March, or a local community celebration, the cape drapes across your shoulders for hands-free solidarity display or waves overhead when the moment calls for it.

Themed Parties & Fancy Dress Events: Ideal for Pride-themed costume parties, workplace diversity events, or any fancy dress occasion celebrating LGBTQ+ visibility — pairs with black pants and a simple top for instant costume impact.

Solidarity Events & Fundraisers: Perfect for community rallies, charity walks, or corporate Pride events where you want to show support visibly — the lightweight fabric won't weigh you down during all-day events.

How to Wear It

Drape the flag across your shoulders with the stripes running horizontally, then hold the top corners with your hands to keep it in place — arms outstretched creates the cape effect. Works over any casual outfit; neutral colours (black, white, grey) let the rainbow stand out.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the flag have ties or clips to secure it?

No built-in closures — it drapes over your shoulders and you hold the top corners with your hands. This gives you the flexibility to wave it overhead when needed or keep it cape-style by gripping the edges.

Can I wear it hands-free or does it need to be held?

You'll need to hold the corners or use safety pins to secure it in place if you want hands-free wear. The flag itself has no fasteners, so it naturally stays on your shoulders when you grip the edges with outstretched arms.

What should I wear underneath the flag?

Any casual outfit works — the model shows black pants and a red top for contrast. Neutral colours (black, white, grey) let the rainbow pop, or match one of the stripe colours for a coordinated look.
