What's Included
- Inflatable Costume with Battery Operated Fan and Gloves
Not included: 4 x AA Batteries.
The Kids Purple Dinosaur Inflatable Costume transforms your child into an oversized T-Rex with a battery-powered fan that keeps the suit inflated throughout wear.
Key Features
- Battery-powered fan unit secures in internal pocket with tightening ring
- Oversized comedic silhouette — approximately 1.5× child's actual size when inflated
- Suitable for children 100–140 cm tall
Perfect For
Book Week & School Events: Ideal for dinosaur or prehistoric themes, paleontology characters, or any Book Week category that allows creative interpretation.
Halloween & Costume Parties: The inflatable silhouette is instantly recognisable and photograph-ready for trick-or-treating, school discos or neighbourhood Halloween events.
Birthday Parties & Themed Events: Whether it's a Jurassic-themed birthday party, a dinosaur dig event, or a costume parade, the vibrant purple colorway stands out in group photos.
How to Wear It
Install 4 AA batteries in the pack (requires screwdriver to open compartment), insert the fan unit through the internal fabric opening and secure with the tightening ring, then connect the cord to the battery pack. Wear the pack in a pocket or clip to belt. Pair with comfortable trainers that can handle running — the inflated suit restricts arm movement slightly, so leave plenty of space for outdoor play.
Frequently Asked Questions
What size child will this costume fit?
Designed for children approximately 100–140 cm tall.
Do batteries come with the costume?
No — you will need to supply 4 AA batteries. The battery compartment requires a small screwdriver to open (safety feature to prevent children accessing batteries).
How long does the fan run on one set of batteries?
Approximately 4–6 hours of continuous use with fresh alkaline batteries. Carry spare batteries for all-day events like school fairs or Book Week parades.
Can my child wear regular clothes underneath?
Yes — the inflatable design works over a t-shirt and shorts or leggings. Avoid bulky winter clothing as it restricts the inflation and makes the costume uncomfortably warm.
