Perfect For

Book Week & World Book Day: This costume ticks every box for school Book Week parades, World Book Day celebrations and library reading events — one of the most recognisable characters from classic children's literature.

Roald Dahl Themed Events: Ideal for author-themed school concerts, Roald Dahl Day (13 September), literary dress-up days and classroom character presentations where kids explore beloved British children's authors.

Halloween & Themed Parties: The Golden Ticket prop makes this costume instantly recognisable at Halloween trick-or-treating, storybook character birthday parties, fancy dress events and family movie nights celebrating the Wonka films.

How to Wear It

Pair with simple black or brown shoes (not included) — worn sneakers or school shoes work perfectly to match Charlie's modest background. Add a smudge of stage makeup "dirt" on the cheeks for extra authenticity, and carry the Wonka Bar prominently in the satchel for photo opportunities.
