Perfect For
Book Week & Character Days: The Care Bears franchise spans books, TV series and films from the 1980s through to today's Netflix series — Share Bear fits Book Week character themes beautifully, whether the brief is "kindness", "friendship" or "classic storybook characters".
Themed Birthday Parties & Halloween: Care Bears nostalgia resonates with parents who grew up in the 1980s and new generations discovering the characters now. Perfect for costume parties, 1980s retro nights, character-themed birthdays and Halloween trick-or-treating where a recognisable, colourful costume stands out.
School Concerts & Dress-Up Events: The tutu-style skirt and coordinated accessories make this costume stage-ready for school performances, character parades, dance recitals with a "caring" theme, and community fancy dress events where the Share Bear belly badge ensures instant recognition.
Frequently Asked Questions
Refer to the size chart image on the product page for exact height and chest measurements. Care Bears costumes typically run in standard children's sizing — measure your child's height and chest, then match to the closest size for the best fit in the fitted bodice.
No — the costume includes the dress and bear ear headband only. Shoes, tights, leggings and any additional accessories are sold separately. The model wears silver ballet flats for styling, but any coordinating footwear works.
Yes — the Care Bears franchise originated as greeting card characters in the early 1980s and expanded into books, animated series and films. Share Bear fits Book Week character briefs beautifully, especially themes around kindness, caring and friendship.
The soft padded bear ear headband sits on top of the head like a standard hairband. Position it slightly back from the hairline so the ears are visible, and secure with bobby pins if needed for active wear during parties or performances.
Absolutely — Care Bears group costumes are a popular choice for siblings or friends attending the same event. Each bear has a distinct colour and belly badge (Share Bear's purple with lollipops, Cheer Bear's pink with rainbow, Grumpy Bear's blue with raincloud), making coordinated group costumes easy to assemble.
