A circus dress up party is the most fabulous theme for a party, be it a child’s birthday party, a teen’s birthday party and an adult’s party, for any celebration. If you are throwing a circus party you can really get into the theme. If this is an adult party, hire a marquee! If it is a child’s party a marquee might be a bit expensive but you can always decorate your garden to look like a marquee! Guests can dress up as ringmasters, lion tamers, trapeze artists, clowns, jugglers, and pretty much anything they choose. You can collect tickets at the door, which would be the invitations, and then give the kids tickets for the different games and different food stalls. And yes, you can have food stalls, one for popcorn, one for cold drinks, one for burgers and one for hot dogs, or similar. You can hire a clown to do a show, and perhaps you can juggle. A big part of a fancy dress party is always the food and the decor. You can have your costumes from costumes stores online or offline and now you have to plan the rest. Buy a whole lot of coloured streamers and string them all around your make shift marquee. Get flags and hang them all around, spread sawdust on the floor and have a few ball pits. If it is a child’s party, get someone, an adult, to play the ringmaster and someone else to play the fool. You can play any child’s party game and adapt it to a circus them too.
