A fun and hilarious fancy dress costume idea is a banana costume. I mean, who would think of dressing up as a banana except a child, or, believe it or not and I believe it, a teen! Somehow dressing up as a piece of fruit, especially a banana, is something that kids find hysterical. And I hate to admit it but it is not just kids who find this hysterical. I once went to an adult fancy dress costume party and I wore a maid’s outfit and my husband chose to go as a banana. We both bought our costumes from an online costume store so they were absolutely fantastic costumes, but we definitely made a very unlikely couple. The French Maid and the Banana, it could have been the title for an art movie. Since that party, although we have these costumes tucked away for next time we need them, we have bought a fair amount of dress up or fancy dress costumes from the online dress up store, mostly because we love dressing up. And because the prices are pretty low, so it makes sense to buy and not make our own.
What would you choose?
It is a fun game to play, the game of costumes or dress-up and what costume would you choose to dress up in. Again, and okay we may be a bit unusual, my husband and I often go through the costumes online, and all the different accessories, and we choose costumes for each other. I always choose really funny costumes for him, I have a ridiculous sense of humour that way, and he generally chooses something quite sexy for me. But once he chose a big pink flamingo inflatable costume for me and I nearly killed him! I think that was when he went in the banana costume and it was very funny!
