What's Included
- Inflatable beige/tan jumpsuit with printed black mawashi belt detail across torso
- Black topknot headpiece styled as traditional sumo hair
- Battery-operated fan unit with attachment pocket (requires 4 AA batteries, not included)
This full-body inflatable sumo wrestler costume transforms you into an oversized Japanese wrestler with exaggerated rounded proportions and classic mawashi belt styling. The battery-powered fan inflates the jumpsuit in seconds for instant comedic impact.
The beige polyester shell features a black diagonal belt printed across the inflated torso, replicating the traditional sumo mawashi. Elasticized cuffs at the wrists, ankles and neck seal air inside the inflatable bladder while allowing freedom of movement. The black topknot headpiece completes the authentic sumo aesthetic.

Perfect For
Bucks Nights & Stag Dos: Whether it's a pub crawl in inflatable form, a bucks party photo challenge, or a group costume theme where one mate commits to the sumo look.
Themed Parties & Sporting Events: Ideal for Japanese-themed costume parties, footy finals fancy dress, or any event where oversized comedy costumes are encouraged.
Halloween & Novelty Events: Stand out at Halloween parties with a non-scary inflatable option, or wear to charity fun runs, corporate dress-up days, or comedy nights.
How to Wear It
Slip on over regular clothing (the inflatable layer adds bulk, so tight base layers work best). Insert 4 AA batteries into the fan unit, zip closed, and switch on — the suit inflates in under a minute. Pair with white athletic socks and black slip-on shoes for full sumo authenticity.
Frequently Asked Questions
What size does this inflatable sumo costume fit?
Inflatable costumes are designed as one-size-fits-most for adults. The elastic cuffs adjust to secure the air seal on most adult body types — typical fit range is 160–195 cm height.
Are batteries and shoes included with the costume?
No. The costume includes the inflatable jumpsuit, headpiece and fan unit only. You need to supply 4 AA batteries. White socks and black shoes (shown in photos) are not included — wear your own for the complete sumo wrestler look.
How long does the fan keep the costume inflated?
The fan runs continuously while wearing to maintain full inflation — battery life depends on AA quality, but expect 4–8 hours of wear on fresh batteries. The fan is quiet enough for indoor events.
Can I wear this to outdoor events or in hot weather?
Yes, the fan circulates air inside the suit so it's cooler than traditional full-body costumes. Outdoor wear is fine — just avoid sharp objects that could puncture the inflatable bladder.
How do I clean and store this inflatable costume?
Wipe the exterior shell with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not machine wash or submerge the fan unit. Deflate, remove batteries, and fold flat for compact storage.
Care: Spot clean with damp cloth; do not machine wash; store deflated and flat.
