When we wear costume to a party, we only think in terms of costumes from movies, cartoons, themes, and other costumes of that sort but we do really forget that national dresses of different countries can be used as costumes for a party. Unlike the Circus Costumes, national dress costumes have to be gotten exactly right so as not to offend the sense of security of people and to respect their right as a people. Here are some exotic national costume dresses that you can wear to stand out of the crowd.
- Scottish highlander: this costume is easy to wear and it involves you wearing a kind of skirt called a kilt and carrying his bag pipes. It is an easy costume to wear and it does make you stand out of a lot.
- Mexican: the brightly coloured serape and a very lovely and big sombrerero will make you look very Mexican and also allow people notice you because of the hat.
- Indian: very exotic long jacket with buttons that would make even someone in the queen of hearts costume fall for you and it has an enormous amount of embroidery that would glitter wherever you go during the party.
- Egyptian: go as one of the pharaohs of Egypt in your white robed garment, ankle sandals and your crown while holding a carved staff in your hands and rule the part as if everyone is your subject.
- Russian: go in a Russian kosovorotka shirt and trousers and behave like czar Nicholas protecting all your friends at the party and making everyone laugh.
All costumes are meant to be worn for pleasure like the Circus Costumes and not to be used to annoy the nationality or country that one comes from.
