Children’s fancy dress costumes can be so creative

It might be a new thing having 100 days of school costume but it really is a wonderful thing. Children love the idea of getting all dressed up in fancy dress costumes but did you know that it is actually a healthy thing for them to do? Dressing up inspires children’s creativity and imagination. It gets them thinking in an imaginative way, thinking of books, thinking of film, thinking of nature. It gets them thinking of what their favourite things are. Do they want to dress up as a famous poet, which shows an interest in poetry, or do they want to dress up as their favourite author or as their favourite book character? This is great as it shows an interest in books and reading and writing too. Do they want to dress up as nature or as something in the environment, which shows they are interested in their environment and even, they are aware of the challenges that our world faces. Do they want to dress up as a country, a flag, or something geographical? You can see the options are endless.

Dressing up as creativity

We know school kids, and they may buy their costumes from online or offline stores and perhaps their parents made them, with their help, who have dressed up as a Math's equation. This is really smart, and shows creativity or art mixed with science. We know kids who have dressed up as a science experiment which is funny but also shows how science is in fact really cool. We know a kid who dressed up as the continent of Africa, and another who dressed up as a tree. Kids can dress up in any way, within boundaries and as long as it is appropriate. Dressing up as your favourite shark or dolphin, probably an easy costume which again you can buy online even last minute, is also great for 100 days of school costume.
